Vintage Thingies Thursday

It's Thursday. I'm joining Coloradolady again today for Vintage Thingies Thursday.

OK, don't be mad. I got these tablecloths and napkins for next to nothing at a yard sale. Ever notice how well made vintage items are? These tablecloths are very heavy material.

Manual Coffee Grinder. My family likes this way more than I do. It is not often that they want to stop and check out "what mom has brought home now"< but they all really liked this one.

I really like this old shoe shine box.

Don't forget to check out everyone elses vintage thingies. Have a very blessed day!!!

  1. I love looking at the patterns on old table cloths, but I know I would never use them so I just collect smaller things.

  2. Love your collectables - I have a vintage STYLE coffee grinder - I 'primmed' it up some with sound beatings and scratches, and darkened it in places after sanding. It works great, since it is newer, but now it looks old fashioned to go with the other things I love!

  4. The linens are all so gorgeous! I can never pass them up when I see them, and they're a good price. I feel like I'm somehow saving them. At least that's how I justify having so many! The coffee grinder and shoeshine box are great. Will you leave them as is, or work your magic on them?
